Prescriptions

If you are on regular medication you will find your repeat prescription order form on the right-hand side of your prescription. All prescriptions are now electronic. Electronic Prescribing is a quicker way to receive your prescriptions, all prescription will be electronically signed and sent to your nominated pharmacy, meaning you do not need to collect a paper prescription from your GP surgery.

You can order your repeat prescription by:

  • NHS app
  • Dropping off your order form at the surgery
    • We have a post box on the outside of the building next to the front door, there is a second prescriptions post box on the front desk at reception.
  • Online

You can order your repeat prescription via the NHS app.

Please allow 5 working days for your prescription to be ready for collection. (some pharmacies may require longer than this to prepare your prescriptions)

You may see a message on the right-hand side of your prescription asking you to come in for a review or to have some routine blood tests undertaken. Please make sure you always check your prescription for any message as it is important you do not miss a regular medication review and any necessary bloods tests.

If you have any medication queries, our reception team are here to help! We just ask that you call us with any queries after lunchtime wherever possible, this is due to our phonelines being so busy in a morning handling appointment queries. Calling after lunch time means you will help free up the lines for appointment queries in a morning, and also means you are likely to have a shorter wait time when calling in an afternoon.

Thank you!
