Door 43 (under 25s)
We are pleased to inform you of the relaunch of our Door 43 young peoples service in the Upper Don and to introduce our Health and Wellbeing Practitioner Kate Hedley. Door 43 helps support young people aged between 13 – 25 and is run by Sheffield futures.

Our service covers many issues faced by Young people including Anger and frustration, Anxiety/stress, Appearance, Bullying, Depression, Family, Feeling safe or unsafe, Finding things to enjoy, Friends, Gender and/or sexual identity, Housing/having somewhere to live, Losing a family member/friend, Low mood/low self-esteem, Mental health difficulties Money or benefits Physical health Problems at home Problems at school Relationship with food/eating disorder or Self-harm.

“If you think talking regularly about how you’re feeling or about something you’re going through would be helpful, we offer up to eight one-to-one support sessions. These sessions can be face-to-face, over the phone, text or video call. Call 0114 201 2800 or email enquiries@sheffieldfutures.org.uk to find our more or complete the referral form to let us know you’re a young person interested in longer term support, and we’ll have a chat to see if this option is right for you.”

Kate comes to Valley Medical Centre on a Monday, every 3 weeks. She is here from 10:00am-5:30pm. If this service is something you would be interested in complete the referral form and hand this into our reception where your details will be passed on and Kate will be in touch with an appointment.
