Undergraduate teaching

The Valley Medical Centre is involved in teaching medical students from Sheffield Medical School. The students normally sit with the doctors during consultations and on home visits.

From time to time they may see patients by themselves or video their consultations.

• This is to improve their communication skills.
• This is only done with your written consent.

You are under no obligation to have a student present during your consultation. Please tell reception if you prefer not to have a student present.
